A Taste of Colours

After a shower of rain,

The sun shines again,

It is the alluring rainbow that remain,

Violet tastes like blackberries,

Red tastes like those exquisite cherries,

Indigo on the contrary,

Tastes extraordinary,

Orange is sweet and sometimes sour,

Yellow tastes tender

Just like sunflower,

Catch some sunshine,

Keep them in a jar,

Blue tastes creamy,

Like the clouds surfing in the sky,

Like those salty tears,

When you cry,

O these colors are so pleasant,

Pleasant to taste with the eye,

Green tastes fresh,

Often very boring,

To make it interesting,

Is what you parents are exploring,

But green can be fun too,

If running in the grassy field,

Is what you could do,

Cause these colors pour a meaning in you….
